Hi! I have just written a text where I bring up many of the points that are or have been unclear or inconsistent in the MCR rules and/or practice. I focus on the scoring, although I also mention some of the other rules as well.
There are many things there that readers of this [Mahjong News] forum will recognize, but also a few new wrinkles, I think.

| Ce texte présente effectivement bien de l'intérêt, mais il comporte hélas quelques erreurs.
Ceux qui lisent l'anglais pourront voir ce qui en est dit sur le forum de Mahjongnews

Thanks for all the comments! I have just prepared a new version, that has benefited from this discussion, and from me now having had access to "Explantion of MCR" from 2007. The new version is available here.
(For those who only want to see what is changed there is a version where the new text is red.) |
